The Avengers, Men in Black 3, Skyfall: April 4th Comic Reel


The first official clip of "The Avengers" has hit the web. Featuring Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, the clip showcases the Widow's combat skills while strapped to a chair.

Comic Book Movie has posted an interview with Chris Hemsworth about his role in Joss Whedon's "Cabin in the Woods" and how the director played a role in his casting as Thor.

Wyndham Hotels has launched an "Avengers" tie-in website with various minigames and a sweepstakes where viewers can win tickets to the red carpet premiere of some future Marvel films. Plus, the site has a whole slew of wallpapers. Comic Book Movie has posted a round-up of all the images and wallpapers.

The Nicole Scherzinger official Facebook fan page has posted three new images of the actress as Lily Poison.


BBC has posted a new interview with Daniel Craig where the actor expounds on "Skyfall" and mentions he'll keep portraying James Bond "until they tell me to stop."

"We haven't been resting on our laurels, we've been plotting what to do with this film," Craig told the BBC. "The first one was a whirr -- it was a new experience and flew by -- the second one was the tricky second album, but this one we've really planned and got a great script. It's going to be different from the last one, but it will still be a great Bond movie."

In an interview with Oregon Live, "Powers" creator Brian Michael Bendis about the current status of the FX adaptation of the comic.

"The pilot is done, and based on the strength of that, FX has ordered more scripts," Bendis told Oregon Live. "Slowly, but surely, we're moving forward. It's not on the air, but any movement is good in television, so it's a good sign."


According to Spinoff Online, Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone has been tapped to direct a film adaptation of Man of Action Duncan Rouleau's Image Comics series "The Great Unknown." Taccone was also a writer on "Saturday Night Live" and the director of the popular digital shorts "I'm on a Boat" and "I Just Had Sex."


Teasing the new season of "Doctor Who," Stephen Moffat revealed a new promotional image on his Twitter account featuring Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and a Dalek.


In an interview with MTV, actor Benedict Cumberbatch spoke about the status of the upcoming J.J. Abrams "Star Trek" sequel.

"The movie is going unbelievably well," Cumberbatch told MTV. "J.J. as usual is crushing it, he's doing an amazing amazing job. I think as much as we put all of our love and effort into the first one, there's even more in this one and he is really, he's such an exacting and beautiful director. What I watch him do, it's so amazing, he inspires everybody around him and he's been so utterly true to everything that we all have honored and loved about Trek so that's kind of where we're at right now. The finish line is in sight."
