The Avengers, Man of Steel, Amazing Spider-Man: February 8th Comic Reel


Spinoff Online posted a new promo image of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in conjunction with a Harley-Davidson contest to get drawn into the upcoming "Avengers" digital comic or win a custom motorcycle.

Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everybody. Opens May 4.


In an interview with The Playlist, actor Michael Shannon (General Zod) compared "Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder to Martin Scorsese, saying Snyder's "Superman" reboot is "edgy in a way like when Nolan took over the Batman franchise."

"Henry [Cavill] is a fantastic Superman, he's got a little edge to him and he's smart, clever and I had fun working with him," Shannon told The Playlist. "I think Zack is the master stylist, visually, I mean he's up there with Scorsese in my book in terms of visual composition, orchestration, etc."

Collider has uncovered a viral campaign from the newest "Amazing Spider-Man" trailer. The faint words "Mark of the Spider-Man" appear at the end of the trailer, leading fans to markofthespider-man.com, a website that currently only contains the "Amazing Spider-Man" logo and six screens filled with static. Currently, it's anyone's guess what the website could mean.

After numerous production delays, "The Wolverine" is back on track with an official release date from Marvel and 20th Century Fox. James Mangold's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" sequel hits theaters July 26, 2013.

According to Deadline, Denzel Washington is in talks to star in "2 Guns," based on the BOOM! Studios graphic novel by Steven Grant. Washington would join Mark Wahlberg on the Baltasar Kormakur-directed film with a script written by Blake Masters.
