Ain't It Cool News's Nordling has this to say about the film, which was screened at AICN's annual Butt-Numb-A-Thon movie marathon:

"I can't review GREEN HORNET in any real detail. I'd like to. In fact, if I were to write it up with any real specificity this would be the longest of these reviews. But I feel i must say this. Although this is being released in January, traditionally a dump-month for the studios, I must insist that this isn't a dump kind of film. I have no idea what kind of box office this will make. But this was for me the most pleasant surprise of all the premieres at BNAT. I really, really loved THE GREEN HORNET, and all I can say to you is that I urge you to see it with an open mind and and prepare to have a metric fuck-ton of fun with it. I'm not bullshitting saying this, not trying to get into anyone's good graces. An honest assessment of THE GREEN HORNET - it's really fucking good."

The film has been getting positive responses in early screenings.

Heat Vision as a Q&A with the film's director, Joe Kosinski. "I've been talking about this for three years, either pitching it to the studio or talking to press about it," says the director. Producer Bruce Timm offers MTV News a few details about the series and its place with other "Green Lantern" products. "[The animated series] doesn't follow the direct continuity of the [live-action] movie or 'First Flight' or anything that we've done before, but it doesn't contradict them either," says Timm. The series will also not retell the origin with the live action film and the previous "Green Lantern: First Flight" direct-to-video release covering that material. While the first season will see the Red Lanterns as the principle enemy, Timm says it may be some time before the show delves into Blackest Night. "Hopefully the show is a big hit and will go on for six or seven years, and we'll do the Black Lanterns somewhere down the line, but for now we don't have any plans to go down that route," he explained.

Meanwhile, Comicus.it has an interview with costume designer Peggy Stamper. "I did look at all the comic book series and took cues from all the illustrations of both the survivors and the zombies. Some of the aspects of the clothing in the comic series were more important to Frank than other aspects," she says of adapting some of the established designs from the book. "We agreed on a compressed color palette for the entire look of the show, which brings the show which is shot in color, closer in value to the black and white color palette of the comic. Everyone loved Sheriff Rick Grimes' uniform and I tried to duplicate that as close as possible to what you see in the comic. I also duplicated the "science bear claw" graphic t-shirt for Rick and Lori's son, Carl."

So I picked up "Assassin's Creed" Brotherhood and find it to be an worthy successor to ACII. I enjoy the continuation of Ezio's story and getting to use Desmond as a playing character for the first time is quite nice ... even if I haven't found anything useful in the 2012 segments. That said, I just start recruiting new Assassins while my Rome is 67% rebuilt. Truly, a fun game Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know!
