THE AVENGERS 2It's never too early to get a jump on "The Avengers" sequel and EW.com spoke with mastermind Joss Whedon about whether his involvement with "The Avengers 2" will get in the way of his ABC Marvel series "S.H.I.E.L.D.," which the director says he'll work on "as my schedule allows."

"I have to maintain a fine balance between not hurting 'The Avengers,' which is my number one priority right now, and not be the guy who shows up once a month and undoes everything that's been done by everyone else," Whedon said.

Meanwhile, MTV spoke with Jeremy Renner about the possible expansion of his role as Hawkeye in the sequel.

"Now, there's more opportunities to explore the characters a little more, I think, for everybody. I think that's exciting," Renner told MTV.

THE LEGEND OF CONANMTV spoke with Arnold Schwarzenegger during a press tour for "The Last Stand," where the actor teased the upcoming "Legend of Conan" film.

"The important thing with Conan is to make it into an A-movie, to treat it like a '300,' any of those good movies, rather than a B-action movie, where you just hack a few heads and limbs off and run around with a sword. That doesn't do it," Schwarzenegger told MTV. "The audience today, the fans, are very sophisticated. They've seen all the Superman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, all of those movies. ... They've seen it all. They demand something that isn't [just] a spectacle."
