'The Angry Birds Movie's' Hatchlings Deliver a Fuzzy Easter Message

Although the little Hatchlings of "The Angry Birds Movie" are undeniably adorable, they have a bit of trouble staying on point. Take, for instance, this Easter message, which moves swiftly from half-formed holiday memories to impromptu song to, finally, a fight over the gender of the Easter Bunny.

Directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly, the CG-animated film stars Jason Sudeikis as the easily ruffled Red, who must team with his equally prickly friends Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb (Danny McBride) to fight back against the Bad Piggies (Bill Hader, among them) when they encroach upon their all-bird paradise.

Opening May 20, “The Angry Birds Movie” also features Maya Rudolph, Hannibal Buress, Kate McKinnon, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale and Peter Dinklage.
