"The Activity" Adaptation Lands "Black Hawk Down" Screenwriter

According to a Latino Review exclusive, Ken Nolan -- the mind behind "Black Hawk Down" -- has reportedly signed on to pen the script for a big screen adaptation of Nathan Edmondson and Mitch Gerads' Image Comics series, "The Activity."

The series follows the Intelligence Support Activity, wherein the United States' most secret and most deadly special operations group is hidden and charged with cleaning up exercises gone wrong with lethal action and the latest tech available.

In addition to "Black Hawk Down," Nolan wrote the foreword for the third volume of "The Activity."

"The Activity" is currently collected in three trade paperbacks from Image Comics.
