Photos for the upcoming The 100 episode "Blood Giant" show its core characters reuniting as the final season's interplanetary storylines begin to converge at last.

The CW released a number of stills for "Blood Giant," which picks up immediately where the previous episode left off following The 100's hiatus. These images highlight some much-needed reunions between Clarke, Raven, Murphy, Emori and Madi, all of whom have spent episodes apart since Clarke and her allies went through the Anomaly Stone to find Bellamy early in Season 7. We also see Clarke and one of the Disciples holding torches indoors, as well as Clarke holding up a gun to an unknown character to protect Madi.

Based on the episode's title and promos, Clarke's return to Sanctum will coincide with a bug swarm and Red Sun Eclipse that, as demonstrated in Season 6, causes Sanctum's inhabitants to go temporarily insane. This comes right after Planet Bardo antagonist Bill Cadogan and his Disciples came face to face with Sanctum antagonist Sheidheda, who seized command of Wonkru and the Eligius prisoners in the time since Clarke left. Cadogan's plan involves locating the remnants Flame, which Clarke buried on Sanctum, in order to translate the Anomaly Stone and gain the knowledge needed to win what he's described as "the Last War."

For Clarke and the other former delinquents, however, a much bigger concern is the fallout of Bellamy betraying them after days (years for characters like Octavia and Echo) of searching for him across planets. In a move that even Murphy finds horrifying, their former ally willfully aligned himself with Cadogan's cause.

The synopsis for "Blood Giant," which will air on Sept. 9, reads as follows:

The 100 stars Eliza Taylor, Marie Avgeropoulos, Bob Morley, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Shannon Kook and J.R. Bourne. The series airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
