The sculpture of an overly friendly neighborhood Spider-Man removed last summer from a South Korean shopping center following complaints about his unmistakable spider-boner has found a happy home: on the side of a hospital.

Because, really, where else would you erect a sculpture of an upside-down Peter Parker dangling his amazing friend for the world to see?

According to Kotaku, Eunsuk Yoo's appropriately named "Good Morning Spidey" was purchased by the owner of an Eastern medicine hospital in Buan County, South Korea, where it now proudly greets patients, staff and visitors. (No, that isn't a web-shooter in his pocket; he's just happy that, with all of the healthcare options available, they chose this hospital. Extremely happy.)

The sculpture hung for more than a year over the playground and rest area of the Lotte Shopping Center in Busan before anyone apparently took notice of Spidey's wall-crawler. Faced with the choice to tame Tiger's turgid tool or remove Spider-Man completely, the artist chose the latter. Undoubtedly Yoo -- to say nothing of Peter Parker -- is now happy with that decision.

Kotaku notes that Yoo had been working on another superhero sculpture that's unlikely to arouse the same kind of controversy: a boxers-clad Incredible Hulk tormented by mice. You can see part of his process on his Facebook page.
