That '90s Show will take viewers back to the Forman family's basement.

Netflix has released the first teaser for the upcoming sequel series, which will pick up 15 years after That '70s Show. The new footage offers fans their first look at Red and Kitty Forman, played once again by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, respectively, as they welcome their granddaughter Leia (Callie Haverda) into their home for the summer. The teaser also shows that Red hasn't let old age soften him up, with the character giving his granddaughter and her new friends a list of rules to follow while hanging out under his roof.

That '70s Show first aired on Fox from 1998 to 2006, running for 8 seasons and 200 episodes. The show tracks the misadventures of a group of teens in Point Place, Wisconsin, from May 17, 1976, to Dec. 31, 1979. Netflix officially announced a sequel series titled That '90s Show in October 2021 that would follow the teenage daughter of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) and Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon) spending the summer of 1995 with her grandparents and forming bonds with other teenagers in the neighborhood.

Ashton Kutcher Reveals Why He Returned for That '90s Show

When That '90s Show was first announced, it was unclear if That '70s Show stars Grace, Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama would return as Eric, Donna, Jackie, Kelso and Fez, respectively. In February 2022, reports emerged that the five actors had signed on for guest roles in the sequel series, which was later confirmed that April. Although Kutcher and Kunis, who are married in real life, were initially hesitant to return to their breakout roles, Kutcher explained that they ultimately decided to do that show after realizing that they were "only in the position that [they were] in because of that show." He said, "We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun."

With the cast of That '70s Show set to only appear in a limited capacity, That '90s Show will instead introduce several newcomers to fill out the show's main cast. In addition to Haverda as Eric and Donna's smart, snarky teenage daughter, new characters include the rebellious Riot Grrrl Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide, aspiring videographer Jay (Mace Coronel), Gwen's easygoing and fun-loving brother Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan), openly gay teen Ozzie (Reyn Doi) and Nate's ambitious and intelligent girlfriend Nikki (Sam Morelos). Tommy Chong will also be back as Leo.

That '90s Show will release on Netflix on Jan. 19.
