Mila Kunis may be married to Ashton Kutcher in real life, but she doesn’t think their That '70s Show characters should have ended up together on the Netflix spinoff That '90s Show.

In an interview with Access Online, Kunis said she can't understand how Jackie and Kelso could stay together for the long haul after their young romance had ended. "My husband and I are together in [the new show], which is weird 'cause we shouldn't have been," Kunis said. "You know what, I called B.S. I was like, 'My character would be with Fez.' I think that I ended up with Wilmer [Valderrama]'s character. And I was like, 'Why are you and I together?' And also, he was married when '70s ended, to Shannon Elizabeth's character, I think," she added.

While Eric and Donna, the series’ central couple, ended up reuniting in the finale, Jackie had a more complicated dating history. She was romantically involved with most of her male friends including Kelso, Hyde (Danny Masterson) and then Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) in the final season. Owing to her character's past, Kunis was left slightly surprised at where Jackie ended up when she began filming the spinoff. "Now we're like 20 years — no, 16 years later, whatever it is, and now we're married with a kid. And I was like, 'I don't know about this one.'"

Despite being a little skeptical about Jackie’s future self, Kunis did describe the spinoff as "very cute" and "anyone who has ever watched or loved That '70s Show will be really happy with it." She also noted that the "young cast are great and they’re so fun," however she was nervous shooting with her husband. The reason, she explains is, "because the set’s the same, minus a couple paint jobs. I don’t know. It made me so uncomfortable.… It’s like, acting’s bullshit, right? Like, at the end of the day, it’s all about fucking bullshit. And so I would look at my husband while we were doing a scene or rehearsing, and I would be like, 'Oh my God, that’s what you look like when you act. '"
