After crossing over into Fortnite several months ago, some new leaks point to Thanos' return to the popular battle royale game. There are two leaks from multiple sources that hint at the Mad Titan's return. The first is a sound file that was only associated with Thanos in the game. The name of the file also has direct ties with the old Thanos event. The second leak was found in the data files for Fortnite after the game's most recent update. Within the folders are files with names like "Gauntlet," suggesting that Epic Games could be preparing for another Thanos stint. Epic has yet to comment about these leaks, but it's possible that Thanos could return to coincide with the release of the Avengers: Endgame trailer. If these files point to the crossover happening again, Epic is likely to announce it soon.[EMBED_TWITTER]https://twitter.com/lucas7yoshi_/status/1072443088432496642[/EMBED_TWITTER]

The Mad Titan previously appeared in the game for a Limited Time Mode in Season Four that coincided with the release of Avengers: Infinity War. In that mode, the Infinity Gauntlet would land somewhere on the map. Whoever picked it up would instantly transform into Thanos, complete with his attacks from the Marvel Studios film. The mode was only in the game for a few days before being taken down.

Fortnite is available now for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and particular Android devices.
