Thanos the Mad Titan -- or, rather, his actor Josh Brolin -- has committed a new act of villainy: trolling Aquaman by claiming to have been the star of the hero's movie instead of Jason Momoa.

On his Instagram account, Brolin has posted a commercial for the Aquaman film, while also "discussing" how playing the King of the Sea was a childhood dream of his and thanking his ohana (the Hawaiian word for family) from the film for the great experience he "had" while filming it. Naturally, the fans are having a field day with the post, with one even commenting about loving "Brolin's" new tattoos.

Despite the rivalry between DC and Marvel, Brolin still shows his support for Jason Momoa and everyone else involved with the film in his own jovial way. While it may be some time before fans get another crossover between the two companies, having "Thanos" say such positive things about "Aquaman's" first solo adventure on the big screen does show that the two companies still respect one another enough to congratulate their competition.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus and Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna. The film is now in theaters nationwide.
