Originally announced in September 2014, Deadline has learned that "Tetris The Movie" has found its funding and will begin production in 2017. The film, billed as an ensemble sci-fi thriller with a Chinese cast, will film in China and other locations in 2017. The film is the first an an expected trilogy of "Tetris" films.
