Henk became involved in a dispute with several programming and software companies controlled by the late media mogul Robert Maxwell and his son Kevin over the game rights. Ultimately, he would secure the intellectual property rights to Tetris, sharing them with its designer/creator Alexey Pajitnov. Pajitnov had not received any credit or financial compensation for the game before then.

The film will be produced by Matthew Vaughn; Vaughn gave Egerton his breakout role in Kingsman: The Secret Service, the film adaptation of the comic series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. Egerton and Vaughn would reunite for the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Egerton's next project is a remake of Little Shop of Horrors, where he plays florist Seymour Krelborn. The film will also star Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and Billy Porter.
