With Josh Brolin's Thanos gathering the Infinity Stones and wiping out half of the universe in that big finger snap moment at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, fans have been left wondering who did and didn't survive mass extermination. One hero who did survive, as it turns out, is Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie. When one fan asked on Twitter if Valkyrie was disintegrated at the end of Infinity War, Thompson confirmed that the scrappy junker from Sakaar is "in one piece and THRIVING," which indicates Valkyrie may actually be benefiting in some way from the destruction of half the universe.RELATED: ‘Censored’ Avengers 4 Images Seems to Confirm Hawkeye Becomes Ronin

Thompson has already been spotted alongside Avengers 4 actors, but it was unclear whether she was alive post-snap or appearing in some sort of flashback capacity. With rumors of time travel for Avengers 4, it's good news that Valkyrie is still around to help out the dwindling number of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

The climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 19th movie set events in motion next year's Avengers 4 and the end of Phase 3. Thompson, who helped pitch an all-female Avengers line-up, looks increasingly like she'll have an expanded role in the female-first Phase 4 of the MCU.
