Linda Hamilton Arrives in First Terminator 6 Set Photos

The first set photos from Tim Miller's Terminator 6 show Linda Hamilton's return to her iconic role as Sarah Connor.

Ignoring nearly three decades of Terminator lore and the past three movies, the reboot by Miller and producer James Cameron picks up the story as a continuation from the critically acclaimed Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Hamilton briefly reprised her role in an uncredited voice cameo in Terminator Salvation, but this is the first time she returns on screen for the series since 1991. Although the likes of Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke have had a shot at playing Sarah Connor, there's no denying that Hamilton owns the part.

In the photos shared on Twitter and Instagram, Hamilton still looks every bit the badass. Although not much is given away by the shots, they show that production is already well under way on Terminator 6.

As well as hoping to return to the golden days of the franchise, Terminator 6 aims to introduce some new blood fighting on both the side of humanity and Skynet. Hamilton wasn't the only one on set photos also captured a battle-scarred Mackenzie Davis, who has a mysterious role in the movie.

With Terminator 6 rumored to launch a new trilogy that will again focus on man vs. machine, fans will have to wait and see whether Hamilton will carry Sarah Connor through to the new era, or if she's passing the baton to a new generation.
