Along with news of when tickets can go on sale, Warner Bros. has also announced a large number of restrictions on theaters exhibiting Tenet in its general theatrical release. Most notably, the studio is requiring it receive 63% of the grosses of Tenet during its entire release, that it's preceded by trailers for three Warner Bros. titles and that theaters shift all their marketing toward Tenet.

Inversion.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branaugh, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Denzil Smith and Michael Caine. The film opens in theaters overseas on Aug. 26. and arrives in select U.S. cities Sept. 3.
