WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #114 by Kevin Eastman, Tom Waltz, Sophie Campbell, Ronda Pattison and Shawn Lee, on sale now.

One of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's youngest wards just brought a dire warning from the future. Now grown up and having traveled back in time, Lita brought the Turtles a warning to prevent their world from crumbling down around them. Not only have they been tasked with saving the life of one of their most vicious enemies, but they're also on the hunt for two overgrown and underdeveloped mutants. They're not the only ones searching for Tokka and Rahzar, though, as another pair of brutal villains are on the hunt as well.

Luckily, Bebop and Rocksteady are on the case in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #114, and they've been distracted by the creative opportunities within Mutant Town.

Lita's warnings led the Turtles to the site of the helicopter crash caused by Tokka and Rahzar, where they found Koya, Bludgeon and Karai among the wreckage. With the Foot Clan trio having not returned back to their home base, their most powerful agents have been dispatched as a search party. Bebop and Rocksteady are out in the city looking for the others.

Bebop and Rocksteady have been two of the most intimidating and iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villains ever since their introduction in the original television series, and they've only gotten worse over time. Even if they aren't the brightest villains, their brute strength and unceasing cruelty make them serious threats. The two of them have rarely been properly taken down, and the suffering they've put the Splinter Clan through is almost unbelievable, even breaking open Donatello's shell and nearly killing him at one point.

Despite the imminent danger they pose, these two hapless villains spot a rock bar with live music and make a pitstop in the middle of their search.

After storming the stage and kicking the band off, Bebop and Rocksteady take their instruments and turn the place into their own private jam session. There isn't much to be done about it considering the size of the two -- though that might actually be a good thing. The longer that Bebop and Rocksteady are busy rocking out, the longer the Turtles have to corral Tokka and Rahzar before they can do any more damage.

While these two have been out and out villains for years, Bebop and Rocksteady's musical interlude suggests that there may very well be a place for them in Mutant Town, which has several current or former musicians. The creative outlets and opportunities provided by Mutant Town could even be enough to lure them away from the Foot Clan for good. At the very least, Mutant Town's emergent music scene was enough to distract them for one night, and that could have bought the Turtles the advantage they need.
