The first trailer for “Dredd” is finally here. The backing track is the Skream remix of La Roux’s “In For The Kill” with plenty of action and violence. Be sure to keep an eye out for Karl Urban as Judge Dredd with glimpses of Lena Headey and Olivia Thirlby. Check out Machinima’s YouTube Channel for the full trailer.

Opens September 21

In honor of Gwensday, “The Amazing Spider-Man” official Twitter posted this nifty new image of Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.

Speaking of the Stacy family, a new featurette has popped up online featuring Denis Leary talking about his casting as Captain George Stacy and his experience playing the role — plus a few cool new pieces of footage.

Spinoff Online has posted a prediction from The Hollywood Reporter that “The Amazing Spider-Man” is expected to debut at over $125 million over the July 4 holiday. That’s a lot of web fluid.

Finally, Sony Pictures India has posted this incredibly spoiler-filled clip from “The Amazing Spider-Man” featuring Rhys Ifans and Irrfan Khan. It’s a great clip, but definitely full of spoilers. Tread with caution.

According to Deadline, Universal Pictures has hired “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver to pen the script for a fourth installment of “Jurassic Park.” No other information was revealed, but if you’re looking to get a fix of dinosaurs escaping a theme park, Universal plans to re-release the original “Jurassic Park” in 3D next summer.

Vulture broke the news this morning that Barry Sonnenfeld’s secret comic book film project is actually an adaptation of DC Comics’ “The Metal Men.” Vulture doesn’t cite a specific source for the reveal, so until then, take this as a rumor — but a Barry Sonnenfeld adaptation of “The Metal Men” would absolutely be fantastic.
