The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the only way it knows how: a virtual pizza party that will reunite the original cast.

Judith Hoag, who played April O'Neil in the 1990 film, made the official announcement on YouTube. "It's our 30th anniversary, and we had some really great stuff planned to celebrate with you guys. And then, the pandemic hit. It would be really great to have a virtual pizza party with you guys — our fans — and with us— the original, official cast and crew from the 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Released in 1990, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles grossed $202 million at the global box office off a $13.5 million budget. Before the film was released, the characters were already popular due to the 1987 classic animated series. The film spawned two sequels, a reboot (and its sequel) and the CGI film TMNT.

The party will be held on May 23, with more information coming in the next few days.

Helmed by Steve Barron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Hoag and Elias Koteas, with the voices of Brian Tochi, Corey Feldman, Josh Pais and Robbie Rist as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, respectively. The film is currently available on DVD and Blu-ray.
