Paramount+ released the official, full-length trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie.

The full-length trailer for the upcoming Teen Wolf movie sees the original cast of the MTV series return to Beacon Hills years after the events of the original series. The trailer teases the emergence of a "terrifying evil," which appears to be controlling Allison Argent, portrayed by Crystal Reed, who seemingly died in Teen Wolf Season 3. Notably, the trailer highlights the reunion between Tyler Posey's Scott McCall, who is referred to as the Alpha throughout the trailer, and Allison, who no longer recognizes him.

Per the synopsis for Teen Wolf: The Movie, "When a terrifying new evil emerges, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and the rest of his pack return to Beacon Hills. Scott rounds up the Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and other shapeshifters of the night. With the help of his new allies, trusted friends, and the return of a long-lost love, Scott and his pack just might stand a chance."

The Pack Returns to Beacon Hills

Helmed by series creator Jeff Davis, Teen Wolf: The Movie was announced in September 2021 and filming began in March. The first teaser trailer for the movie was revealed during 2022's San Diego Comic-Con in July and offered a glimpse at the upcoming revival of Teen Wolf, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2011 to 2017.

The revival will see the return of most of the original Teen Wolf cast. Apart from Posey and Reed, the movie features a mix of original cast members and franchise newcomers, including Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Melissa Ponzio, Ian Bohen, Dylan Sprayberry, Seth Gillam, Vince Mattis, Khylin Rhambo, and Tyler Hoechlin. Original cast members not returning include Dylan O'Brien and Arden Cho, who played Stiles Stilinski and Kira Yukimura, respectively.

Posey confirmed his return as protagonist Scott McCall in October 2021, saying he was "excited to play this character again." "I miss him, I love him," the actor said. "We were in high school for what seemed like 10 years. I'm excited to see them age and get out of high school. High school was such a character in itself on the show, so I'm excited to see how it's going to be without that sort of character of a school involved. It will be interesting."

All six seasons of the series are currently available to stream on Paramount+. Teen Wolf: The Movie premieres on Paramount+ on Jan. 26, 2023.
