Paramount+ released the first clip from the upcoming Teen Wolf: The Movie, providing a first look at Crystal Reed's violent return as Allion Argent.

Presented during New York Comic Con, the clip begins with Tyler Hoechlin's Derek Hale talking to his son, Eli (Vince Mattis), who plays for the Beacon Hills lacrosse team. While they speak in the locker room, a new version of Reed's Allison Argent attacks them. Derek is surprised to see her, likely because the character died in Season 3 of MTV's original Teen Wolf series. Teen Wolf: The Movie will debut on Paramount+ on Jan. 26, 2023.

Written and produced by series creator Jeff Davis, Teen Wolf: The Movie was announced in September 2021 and filming began in March. The first teaser trailer for the movie was revealed during 2022's San Diego Comic-Con in July and offered a glimpse at the upcoming revival of Teen Wolf, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2011 to 2017.

Allison Argent Returns to Beacon Hills

The revival will see the return of most of the original Teen Wolf cast, including Hoechlin, Reed, Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, J.R. Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio and Dylan Sprayberry. Original cast members not returning include Dylan O'Brien and Arden Cho, who played Stiles Stilinski and Kira Yukimura, respectively.

Posey confirmed his return as protagonist Scott McCall in October 2021, saying he was "excited to play this character again." "I miss him, I love him," the actor said. "We were in high school for what seemed like 10 years. I'm excited to see them age and get out of high school. High school was such a character in itself on the show, so I'm excited to see how it's going to be without that sort of character of a school involved. It will be interesting."

The upcoming Teen Wolf movie will return to Beacon Hills as a "terrifying evil emerges." Per the synopsis, "The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they've ever faced."

Teen Wolf: The Movie will debut on Paramount+ on Jan. 26, 2023, and all six seasons of the series are currently available to stream on Paramount+ as well.
