The Teen Titans are one of DC's most venerable teams. Founded by the original round of Silver Age sidekicks like Dick Grayson, Wally West, and Donna Troy, the team has gone through many permutations over the years. It's always been DC's home for the new generation of superheroes, with the successive generations learning from those who came before. One of the most interesting things about the Teen Titans is their ages.

The most well-known Titans are no longer teens but still crucial to the franchise. Figuring out how old the most important Titans are is a bit difficult, but figuring that the DCU has existed for fifteen in-universe years, they can be calculated.

10 Conner Kent Is Only A Teenager In Appearance

Superboy-Conner-Kent

Conner Kent was the Superboy of the '90s, and when the Teen Titans returned in the early 2000s, he was a part of the team. The irony of that is that he's nowhere near a teenager. Superboy was a clone of Superman created by the Cadmus Project after Doomsday killed the Man of Steel. Conner looks like a teenager, but he's actually much younger.

Conner's age isn't even in double digits. He's eight at the oldest and five at the youngest. However, the accelerated aging makes him look as old as his teammates.

9 Tim Drake Is Around Nineteen Years Old

Tim Drake Robin Batman Urban Legends #6

Tim Drake was the third Robin and one of the best. He figured out Batman's secret identity on his own and since then has become the brightest star of his generation of sidekicks. He led his own incarnation of the Teen Titans, following in the footsteps of his Robin predecessor Dick Grayson. He was probably around fourteen when he became Robin and around sixteen when he joined the Teen Titans.

At this point in time, he's probably around nineteen. He could be twenty, but it isn't very likely. Even at his young age, he's proven to be an amazing hero and is still one of the best leaders the Teen Titans ever had.

8 Cyborg Is In His Mid-Twenties

Cyborg discussing how he is a bridge between humans and technology

Cyborg's origins in the DC Universe is very interesting. It all depends on whether one counts the New 52 or not. Either way, he was around the same age when he became superhuman. Since he was a varsity athlete either way, the youngest he would have been is sixteen. If one considers the fifteen-year time frame and puts the formation of the New Teen Titans at ten years ago, he's in his mid-twenties.

This puts him at around the same age as the oldest Titans. He's at least twenty-six, perhaps twenty-seven years old. He's served with multiple incarnations of the Teen Titans, even once he had aged out of the group's teen age range.

7 Wally West Is Somewhere Between Twenty-Five And Thirty

Flash Wally West Job 2

Wally West has run a long way in his career as a superhero. He's possibly the greatest Flash and started out as Kid Flash, teamed up with his greatest hero and uncle Barry Allen. He's been a hero for just about the entirety of modern DC history. He probably started somewhere around twelve, and if it's been fourteen years since he started, that makes around twenty-six, perhaps a little older.

Wally is one of the most accomplished members of the Teen Titans. He left the team before becoming the Flash after the death of his mentor. Since then, Wally has been a member of the Justice League and gotten married, having two kids.

6 Beast Boy Is The Youngest Of The New Teen Titans Generation

Beast Boy With His Bird, Monkey, And Bear Transformations

Beast Boy started out as a superhero with his adoptive parents in the Doom Patrol before joining the New Teen Titans. He was the youngest member of the team at that time, and it showed with how comported himself. He was the most immature member of the team, his girl-crazy ways going a little far sometimes, especially when Terra joined and was revealed as Deathstroke's mole on the team.

Beast Boy was at least thirteen when he joined the Teen Titans but not more than fourteen. Going with the ten-year time scale since the founding of the New Teen Titans, that puts Beast Boy at around twenty-three, twenty-four at the oldest.

5 Donna Troy Has Been A Superhero Most Of Her Life

Donna Troy WOnder Girl DC Comics

Donna Troy is one of DC's most convoluted characters, and that can make it hard to put an age on her. Donna is a founding member of the Teen Titans, but the way the various Crisis events have changed her origin makes getting an exact age range for her somewhat dicey. The best way to figure it out would be to use touchstones from her life.

She got married during the New Teen Titans years, so she had to turn eighteen at some point during that time. She was more than likely around seventeen when the New Teen Titans started, so she's probably among the oldest Titans, now somewhere between twenty-seven and thirty.

4 Starfire Hasn't Hit Thirty Yet

Starfire uses her powers, creating green energy around her hands in DC Comics

Starfire is another character whose age isn't easy to figure either. To begin with, it's hard to know whether Tamaraneans age or count age the same way humans do. That's almost certainly the case because of differing orbital times between Earth and their homeworld. However, she is a teenage human equivalent so that she would count as a Teen Titan.

Going by Earth years and an equivalent aging to humans, the New Teen Titan's powerful warrior princess is between twenty-five and twenty-seven. This is around the median age of her group of Teen Titans.

3 Raven Was On The Younger End Of The New Teen Titans Spectrum

Raven was always one of the most powerful members of the New Teen Titans, but she was also on the younger end. While she was certainly older than Beast Boy, Raven was probably around fourteen when she sought out heroes to help her battle her father Trigon. She's the entire reason the New Teen Titans formed, which makes her one of the most important teen heroes of her generation.

Raven always seemed like one of the group's oldest members because of her upbringing in Azarath, where she learned to control her emotions. It's always interesting to think just how different the two youngest Teen Titans are.

2 Damian Wayne Is Possibly The Most Skilled Teen Hero Ever

Damian Wayne As Robin.

Damian Wayne's age is sort of easy to figure out. The hyper-violent son of Batman and Talia al Ghul, he was around ten when he joined his father, around the same age as Dick Grayson when he became Robin. The problem comes in calculating just how much time has elapsed since then. It's possible he was actually closer to twelve, which makes things a tad easier.

Depending on when he started, Damian is between thirteen and fifteen years old. He's also extremely mature and probably the best pure fighter ever to be a Teen Titan, benefiting from years of training from his father, mother, and Dick Grayson.

1 Nightwing Is Over Twenty-Five Years Old

Nightwing With Bitewing Barking

Nightwing started his career as a superhero as the first Robin and since then has grown into a hero that rivals his mentor Batman. Different ages are given for when he started out as Robin; the earliest is ten and the latest is twelve. Dick wasn't with Batman when he started, joining a year or two later. Going with the later age of twelve, Nightwing is around twenty-six years old.

Nightwing and Wally West are tied when it comes to who is the most accomplished Teen Titans alum. Both of them moved into a comfortable adulthood as a superhero, but Nightwing created his own mantle before taking over for his mentor. He's one of the premier heroes of the DC Universe, and everyone loves and respects him.
