A Teen Titans Go! Character Is Coming to the Mainstream DC Universe

Teen Titans Annual #1

January's Teen Titans Annual #1 will not only see Robin take the fight to Red Hood, it will also feature the mainline DC comics debut of the villain Joy Stick from the Teen Titans Go! universe.

Anyone who actually recalls that name were likely fans of the 2004 Teen Titans Go! comic (not to be confused with the modern cartoon/comic book tie-in.) Joy Stick made debuted in Teen Titans Go! #41 as the self-proclaimed daughter of the villain Control Freak, much to his surprise.

Judging by the solicitation text for Teen Titans Annual #1, however, this new version of Joy Stick ismale. In turn, readers can also likely expect a few other tweaks to the character's backstory.

That said, Control Freak will also feature in this issue. So, while Damian Wayne and Jason Todd are busy throwing fists, fellow Teen Titan Djinn will have to contend with the knowledge that the channel-surfing supervillain has learned her deepest and most dangerous secrets.
