The last time fans saw Teen Titans Go! was in Teen Titans Go! to the Movies, which grossed $52 million at the box office last year. Like so many other film adaptations of comics, the movie had a post-credits tease that promised a match-up pitting the characters of Teen Titans Go! against their more serious counterparts from the popular Teen Titans cartoon.

Since then, there's been almost no word about Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans. However, Khary Payton, the voice performer who plays Cyborg, gave an update about the film's progress, saying the voice recording is complete.

"We recorded it a long time ago. We had fun. I don't remember a thing," Payton told ComicBook.com. "I literally have to go back and revisit the story, because they've been waiting to show this thing for the longest time."

Payton, who also plays Ezekiel on The Walking Dead, has a sluggish memory because he's been so busy. "Between that time, I've done probably like 13 episodes of Young Justice, 30 episodes of Teen Titans GO!, the whole season of last season of The Walking Dead, and a bunch of one off's and not to mention Big Hero 6, the animated series," he said. "I don't know, man. I would love to be able to tell you something. I don't know."

Payton can't say much either way because his silence is more than likely a contractual obligation. Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans does not have a release date, nor is it known whether it will be on Cartoon Network, released theatrically or possibly air on DC Universe.
