Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Will Arnett (The LEGO Batman Movie) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Frozen) have signed on to the voice cast for Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. Joining them will be series stars Greg Cipes, Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Tara Strong and Hynden Walch. The film will mark the first time DC Entertainment’s animated TV series has been adapted for the big screen.

Cipes, Menville, Payton, Strong, and Walch will be resuming their series role as Beast Boy, Robin, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire, respectively. As of right now, neither Arnett or Bell's roles have been revealed.

This isn’t the only adaptation of the Teen Titans currently in development: DC Comics is also working on a Titans live-action digital series, with an aim of premiering in 2018 through their own streaming service. The series has cast Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Hawk, and Dove so far, and a Beast Boy announcement might not be far away.

Teen Titans Go! to the Movies will be directed by Aaron Horvath (Teen Titans Go!) and Peter Rida Michail (Teen Titans Go!), from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go!, Batman vs. Two Face) and Horvath, based on characters from DC Comics. Arnett will serve as a producer on the film alongside Michail and Peggy Regan; while Sam Register, Jelenic and Horvath will serve as executive producers on the project.

The film is currently slated to hit theaters on July 28th, 2018.
