Teen Titans Go! celebrates the career of Justice League director Zack Snyder with some special background art.

Dan Hipp, who previously served as the art director for the DC Comics animated series on Cartoon Network, shared four pieces of Snyderverse-inspired art on his Twitter page. The first image includes Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman posed together as they were seen in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The second picture features Jason Mamoa's Aquaman above water chilling out with a dolphin and a turtle wearing cool shades. The third pays homage to the zombies from Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake and two owls from his computer-animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. The last image is a collage of Teen Titans Go!-inspired art of Leonidas from 300, the Batman v. Superman fight scene in the rain and the Alpha Queen zombie from Army of the Dead.

Hipp's artwork comes off the heels of Snyder's animated appearance on Teen Titans Go! In the episode ironically titled "365!" the Titans visit the Warner Bros. studio lot to seek a director for their latest series installment. They encounter Snyder at his office and convince the Justice League filmmaker to give them the "Snyder Cut" treatment. This results in the filmmaker giving the team a DC Extended Universe makeover as they go on to battle Darkseid as he was depicted in the Snyder Cut. Audiences will notice several of the above pictures hanging as posters in the director's office.

Snyder's Teen Titans Go! cameo appearance was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con's "Cartoon Network: Winner Takes" presentation. As it turned out, convincing Snyder to lend his voice to the show was easier than the creative team expected. "He's a fan of the show, yo," said Teen Titans Go! director Peter Michail. "We reached out and pitched him the idea. He loved it and was actually a fan -- like Greg's saying -- of the show. It was surprisingly very easy. It was, and he was great! It was an incredible experience, and we're honored to have him as a part of the Teen Titans Go! world, for sure."

The meta approach to Snyder's Teen Titans Go! appearance has some fans believing that WB will restore the Snyderverse which began with 2013's Man of Steel. However, Snyder's Superman reboot along with his 2016 follow-up Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice did not meet studio expectations and polarized audiences. His Justice League film was notorious for behind-the-scenes issues that led to The Avengers director Joss Whedon taking over the reins. Four years after Justice League's underperformance at the box office, Snyder released his director's cut as an HBO Max exclusive.

Snyder's Teen Titans Go! cameo can now be viewed on HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
