Teen Titans: The Complete Series Heads to Blu-ray With Special Features

At long last, Cartoon Network's original Teen Titans animated series is being released on Blu-ray in its entirety.

Teen Titans: The Complete Series goes on sale this December as part of the Warner Archive Collection. The six-disc set contains all 65 episode of Teen Titans, which originally ran on Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2006. Moreover, the Blu-ray collection includes a bonus episode of the series -- simply dubbed, "The Lost Episode" -- as well as the 2006 made-for-TV movie Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo.

The collection also comes with numerous special features, such as "Finding Their Voices," "Comic Creations: From Comic Book to Cartoon," "Catching Up With... Teen Titans," "Teen Titans: Know Your Foes" and "Teen Titans: Friends and Foes," not to mention a featurette starring Puffy AmiYumi -- the Japanese pop rock duo behind the iconic Teen Titans theme song.

Debuting on television in the summer of 2003, Teen Titans starred DC heroes Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy. Over the course of the series' five-season run, the titular team faced an extensive rogues gallery of formidable adversaries, including Slade (aka Deathstroke), Terra, Brother Blood, Trigon and the Brotherhood of Evil. The show spawned a comedic spinoff series -- Teen Titans Go! --which premiered in 2013.

Teen Titans: The Complete Series will be released on Blu-ray Dec. 3. The series stars the voices of Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Tara Strong, Hynden Walch, Greg Cipes, Ron Perlman, Ashley Johnson and Kevin Michael Richardson, among many others.
