The Flash is returning for its sixth season on The CW this October, and the network has released the first set of official stills from the upcoming season premiere.

Team Flash re-assembles in the ominously titled "Into the Void," seen within their usual headquarters at S.T.A.R. Labs, with Barry Allen dressed in his civilian attire rather than as the Scarlet Speedster.

Cisco Ramon is seen looking particularly sullen, having willingly given up his powers as Vibe by the end of Season 5, with the change in status visibly affecting him.

Another photo sees Barry with his wife Iris West-Allen in the lab's secret room (originally used by Eobard Thawne in Season 1) housing a future digital newspaper with a headline story written by a future version of Iris revealing Barry's disappearance during the coming "Crisis on Infinite Earths." The Season 5 finale had moved up the disappearance to 2019, a discovery that will likely shake Team Flash to its core.
