Tarsem Singh Will Direct All Ten 'Emerald City' Episodes

Series writer/Executive Producer David Schooner has announced that "Self/less" director Tarsem Singh is heading to Oz. And his commitment is a deep one, with Singh slated to direct all ten episodes of "Emerald City's" limited series run.

"Emerald City" was famously dropped by the network in 2014, only to have it kicked pack into production earlier this year. Singh will join Schooner, Adria Arjona -- cast as the series' lead -- and co-Executive Producer Shaun Cassidy on the series.

A darker, more modern re-imagining of the children’s classic by L. Frank Baum, the upcoming series features “a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy.”
