When Disney’s “Tangled” premiered in 2010, the animated musical fantasy-comedy was an immediate commercial and critical success, leaving audiences eager for more as soon they left theaters. It was followed in 2012 by the short film "Tangled Ever After," and soon fans will be able to tune in weekly for Disney Channel's "Tangled: The Series."

But until then, there's "Tangled: Before Ever After," a TV movie that will reintroduce the characters and bridge the gap between the 2012 short and the new show. As we see in the trailer for the Disney Channel Original Movie, Rapunzel’s hair has grown back, much to the chagrin of pretty much everyone involved.

The art style in the film is drastically different from 2010's "Tangled," but fans shouldn’t worry much about quality, as the film will retain some of the most crucial cast roles. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi return as the voices of Rapunzel and Eugene, and Broadway star Eden Espinoa plays Rapunzel’s friend and confidante, Cassandra. Fan-favorite characters Pascal and Maximus are also back.

“Tangled: Before Ever After” premieres in March on the Disney Channel, with “Tangled: The Series” arriving sometime shortly after.
