Tamashii Nations drums up a new 'Star Wars' samurai figure

Even after reimigining Darth Vader, Boba Fett, a Stormtrooper, a Sandtrooper and the Emperor's guard as warriors from feudal Japan, Tamashii Nations still isn't finished with its Meisho Movie Realization Star Wars line.

The toymaker has revealed its Taikoyaku Stormtrooper, equipped with a traditional taiko drum, used to motivate his fellow Imperial forces, set the pace for the march and communicate orders.

Listed as a Japanese exclusive, the figure also features highly detailed armor, a banner, a conch and drumsticks. It's set for release in June. The other releases in the series are offered in North America by Bluefin, so maybe Taikoyaku Stormtrooper will eventually makes its way here as well.
