Publisher Take-Two Interactive, which previously released video games such as Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, reported that it is currently working on several remasters.

At a recent investor presentation, Take-Two reported that it is developing a remaster of Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded and Enhanced for next-gen consoles. It also listed three unannounced games under the section titled, "New Iterations of Previously Released Titles." The report included a warning stating, "These titles are a snapshot of our current development pipeline. It is likely that some of these titles will not be developed through completion, or some may be delayed, and we may also add new titles to our slate."

There is speculation that one of those unannounced titles is related to Grand Theft Auto V. Video game journalist Andy Robinson suggested, "Some of these will almost certainly cover GTA titles."

It's worth noting that Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick previously expressed that the company is not interested in ports of its games. He then expanded on this, saying, "Remastering has always been a part of the strategy. We've done differently than the competition – we don't just port titles over, we actually take the time to do the very best job we can making the title different for the new release, for the new technology that we're launching it on. He added, "So, we improve the technology, we upgrade the visuals, and we make performance enhancements. And that's why I think our remastered titles typically do so well."
