the fifth element
This week saw new "Avengers: Age of Ultron" figures from Hot Toys and Kotobukiya along with Funko's "Arrow" & "The Flash" and much more.
Director Luc Besson discusses his upcoming film "Lucy," selling a story to "Metal Hurlant," taking creative risks in Hollywood film and more.
It's been more than a decade since Luc Besson's The Fifth Element, but in some ways, cinema still hasn't recovered from the blend of action, colorful camp and a distinctly (and wonderfully) European take on science fiction movies. Maybe that's why I'm so excited by the news that Besson's about to do it all again.
Has Luc Besson gone soft? Sure, he may be producing a revenge thriller starring Star Trek's Zoe Saldana and space jail movie The Lock Out, but what the La Femme Nikita, The Professional and The Fifth Element director really wants to do is... make a love story?
