Another Law & Order Series To End

The parent series was unceremoniously canceled by NBC last year, and now news comes that another Law & Order will come to a close with its next season. Can television survive such a lawless environment?

BBC America To Air Law & Order: U.K. (chung CHUNG!)

BBC America announced today it will air Law & Order: U.K., the British spinoff of the hit police procedural/legal drama, beginning on Oct. 3. The series, which debuted in February 2009, stars Battlestar Galactica's Jamie Bamber and Doctor Who's Freema Agyeman.

Second Law & Order Canceled This Year

Things are not looking rosy for the Law & Order franchise these days. Not only was the original series canceled earlier this year after 20 seasons, but now it's looking like spin-off Law & Order: Criminal Intent is heading to the courthouse in the sky as well.

NBC May Have Banged The Gavel On Law & Order

Deadline reports that NBC will cancel Law & Order at the end of its 20th season, one year short of the record set by Gunsmoke. However, The Futon Critic contends the show's death announcement may be premature as a deal could be struck by the network's upfront presentation on Monday.
