Amazing Spider-Man #13

Dan Slott, Guiseppe Camuncoli and Cam Smith's "Amazing Spider-Man" #13 continues the "Power Play" storyline, but it requires Spider-Man and Iron Man to act ridiculously immature to advance the plot.

Silver Surfer #4

Thanks to Michael Allred and Laura Allred, "Silver Surfer" #4 looks great, but Dan Slott's story of Shalla Bal seeking revenge for the erasure of Zenn-La's culture is little more than a retread of the previous issue.

Amazing Spider-Man #11

In "Amazing Spider-Man" #11, Dan Slott, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Cam Smith wrap up the fight against Scorpio and the new Zodiac in a way that reminds readers of the necessity of Parker Industries.

Silver Surfer #3

Dan Slott, Michael Allred and Laura Allred's "Silver Surfer" #3 tries to end the specter of Zenn-La within the Surfer's life once and for all, but the story never quite clicks, even with an expanded page count.

Amazing Spider-Man #8

Dan Slott and Matteo Buffagni's "Amazing Spider-Man" #8 gives us a good wrap-up of the Dark Kingdom storyline as Spider-Man attempts to free his friends and stop Mr. Negative while betrayal lurks on all sides.
