Wednesday sees the start of Comic-Con International -- however, if you're reading this, chances are you already know that. In fact, chances are you're going, in which case you've probably already planned out which panels to attend. Behind all the big-name appearances and panels promoting the latest movies, TV shows and transmedia properties, however, there are some other panels you might've missed.

Comic-Con Stays In San Diego

After months and months of speculation that Comic-Con International might move away from its southern California location due to an increased demand surpassing the San Diego Convention Center's attendance limit, the folks behind CCI have confirmed that the show will stay put for the foreseeable future.

CCI: The Fringe Panel

CCI: The Event Screening And Q&A

At Comic-Con International, NBC debuted the pilot of its upcoming conspiracy thriller "The Event" for attendees, followed by a very brief question-and-answer session with the cast and producers. The series, which stars Blair Underwood, Jason Ritter, Sara Roemer, Laura Innes and Željko Ivanek, debuts on Sept. 20.

CCI: The Expendables Panel

Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Randy Couture and Terry Crews appeared at Comic-Con International to promote "The Expendables," the highly anticipated ensemble action film about a group of mercenaries sent to South America to overthrow a cold-blooded dictator -- only to discover the situation isn't quite as it appears.

Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber and others appeared at Comic-Con International to talk about "Salt," performing stunts, and how the spy thriller differs from Jolie's other action movies.
