Summary
Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Arisu) initially started as a Japanese Manga series, both written and illustrated by Haro Aso. The story centers around three high-school students, Arisu, Karube, and Chota, all who yearn for something new to mix up their largely dull lives. Arisu's wish to be in a new world happens to come true, sending the three to a mysterious game-like realm where they discover that they must continue to clear various games to survive this new world. Alice in Borderland eventually expanded into an OVA mini-TV series and currently has an on-going Netflix live-action adaption.
