"Grey's Anatomy" alum T.R. Knight has joined "11/22/63,” the Hulu adaptation of Stephen King's time-travel thriller.

Produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television, the nine-hour miniseries stars James Franco as Jake Epping, a divorced high-school English teacher who stumbles upon a time portal that takes him to 1958, where he sets out to prevent the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of President Kennedy. However, his mission is threatened by Lee Harvey Oswald, romance and the past itself.

According to Variety, Knight will play Johnny Clayton, a charismatic but controlling 1960s Texas salesman who can't quite break up with his estranged wife Sadie Dunhill (Sarah Gadon), even as she falls in love with Jake.

The cast also includes Chris Cooper, Daniel Webber, Cherry Jones, George MacKay, Lucy Fry and Leon Rippy."11/22/63” is expected to premiere sometime next year.
