As Swamp Thing gets ready for his new series on DC Universe, fans are undoubtedly awaiting the series premiere. Luckily for them, a new photo from series star Virginia Madsen -- who plays Maria Sunderland in the show -- confirms that filming for the season has wrapped.

The photo, uploaded to Madsen's Instagram account, features the first issue of the New 52 Swamp Thing series laying above a black chair back that reads "Maria Sunderland," with both in front of a white wall. Said cover adds a more ominous feel to the photo, as it looks as though Swamp Thing is reaching out to the viewers while rays of sunlight hit the swamp.
