As the long-running CW show Supernatural barrels forward towards its series finale, both the showrunner and the stars promise that Sam and Dean Winchester, who have been battling the strange and the paranormal for 15 seasons, will not be going down without a fight.

"Sam and Dean's key defining characteristic is that they just never give up," executive producer and co-showrunner Andrew Dabb told The CW.

A clip posted to The CW's YouTube channel titled "Never Stop Fighting" features interviews with the stars of Supernatural, Ackles (who plays Dean Winchester) and Jared Padalecki (who plays Sam Winchester), intercut with a scene from the show wherein the brothers discuss their odds in the fight of all fights: them vs. God.

"They never stop fighting for each other and they never stop fighting for what they believe is right," said Jensen Ackles.

The brothers' ambition to always push forward and fight for their lives has inspired many fans over the past 15 years. Jared Padalecki added, "[Ackles] and I have both heard from fans in person saying, 'Hey, I was going through this or that and I thought if Sam and Dean can go up against God or the Devil...and still fight, then I can too.'"

Supernatural returned to The CW with its final seven episodes after an impromptu hiatus caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As of now, there are only five episodes left, all leading up to the Winchesters and their allies as they face off against God himself (played by Rob Benedict).
