While the apocalypse may be averted for now, the Winchester Brothers continue to face strange, paranormal threats as Supernatural's final season continues.
The CW has released a set of official stills from the season's fifth episode, titled "Proverbs 17:3," with Sam and Dean taking the plunge as they embark on a new, troubling investigation. The titular Old Testament Bible verse reads, "The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart," hinting at the Winchesters being tested to their core by their next case.
