Lauren Cohan is best known as Maggie from The Walking Dead or the star of the ongoing series Whiskey Cavalier. However, fans of Supernatural got to know her before either of those TV shows made her an international celebrity.
With the final season of Supernatural coming later this year, Cohan has made it clear that she would love to return to the show one last time to say goodbye.
"That was my first TV experience, and my first job in the United States. It was just so much fun. It was also my first time putting a foot into the immensely strong fan base for Supernatural," she told Collider. "It was the nicest group to become a part of. It was a first for me, for so many things. So, with absolute gusto, I would love to go back."
Lauren Cohan portrayed Bela Talbot on Supernatural and appeared in the third season of the show. She was a human character who made a deal with a crossroads demon as a teenager to kill her abusive parents. She then became a con-artist, who was a recurring character. Eventually, she struck a deal with the demons to try to get out of her fate but met her demise when her 10-year agreement ended and a hellhound came for her.
Cohan said that she was jealous when her Walking Dead co-star Jeffery Dean Morgan got to return to Supernatural for its 300th episode. Of course, Morgan is John Winchester -- the father of Sam and Dean -- and even though he is dead, the show found a way to return him for that appearance.
With that in mind, Cohan knows that being dead is not always the end of the line for Supernatural characters, so there could always be a way for her to return from beyond the grave on the series.
Airing Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert. The Season 14 finale airs on Thursday, April 25.
