After fifteen seasons, 320 episodes and countless car crashes in Dean Winchester's 1967 Chevrolet Impala, Supernatural is ending this Nov. on The CW. However, the finale has not even aired yet and Jensen Ackles has already spoke out about this upcoming ending being a pit-stop on a much longer Supernatural road.Actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki portrayed brothers Sam and Dean Winchester since 2005, becoming -- as did the creators -- legends for shaping the longest running sci-fi television show in American history. When asked about what he felt about the show's ending on Michael Rosenbaum's "Inside of You" podcast, Ackles' answer didn't seem final at all.RELATED: Supernatural's Jensen Ackles Is Keeping Dean Winchester's ImpalaRosenbaum asked Ackles if "down the road, after some years have passed, if Ackles could imagine himself calling up the team" and wanting to do another season.

Ackles replied, "Oh, oh yeah," but quickly followed with assurance that at this time, "the ship has already sailed with this being the last season of Supernatural. Jared already has another show lined up. I got a few stokers in the fire… we’re gonna knock this out, we’re gonna do it justice. I’ve always thought that there was a possibility of you know five years down the road getting a call and saying, Hey! Let’s do a lil short order action for a streaming network and bring them back for six episodes."

Ackles added, "I do feel like this isn’t the long goodbye, right now. I feel like this is a...let’s hang this in the closet for now, and we’ll dust her off down the road a bit."

Until then, Ackles will view this season's close as a departure for now and one that is no less hard to stomach. In the Instagram post below, Ackles addresses his fans on the coming end, and reflects on what it was like to hold the script for Episode #327. Unlike all prior adventures for Dean, this one is not closed with a "To Be Continued," but a "The End."

And this end, is the only certainty that Supernatural fans can rely on at this moment in time...that, and that if you are ever craving "saving people, hunting things, the family business," then you can stream all fourteen prior seasons on Netflix.

Starring Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert, the final seven episodes of Supernatural begin airing on Oct. 8 on The CW. The finale will air on Nov. 19.
