Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki broke into tears while thanking their fans for the devotion they have shown the beloved CW series.

"We may not have won a lot of awards..." Ackles said. "But walking out on that stage and hearing nearly 7,000 people applaud us, that was about as big of an award that we could have ever won in our lives."

"What touched me was that, it didn't feel like they were clapping for me. It felt like they were clapping with me," Padalecki added.

When asked if the stars had a message for the fans going into Season 15, Padalecki responded with a tearful "Thank you. That's all I got."

In March, Ackles, Padalecki and costar Misha Collins announced that the long-running drama would be ending with its upcoming fifteenth season. The final season will consist of 20 episodes, bringing the total series count to 327. Debuting on The WB network on September 13, 2005, Supernatural is the longest-running sci-fi/genre series in the history of American broadcast television.

This 2019-2020 TV season will mark the end of an era for The CW, with flagship shows Arrow and The 100 also entering their final seasons.
