Padalecki and Ackles have starred as Sam and Dean Winchester since Supernatural began in 2005. The show is currently in the midst of its 15th and final season and is reportedly halfway through the production of its last 20 episodes. It has been noted that Padalecki’s arrest hasn’t interrupted filming.
