Fans can expect a familiar face to return to Supernatural, according to a new episode synopsis.
"Inherit the Earth" will see everyone putting their lives at risk as the battle against God rages on. However, it is not just Dean, Sam, Castiel and Jack that will take part in this clash; the synopsis confirms a character that was once in the series will be coming back to enter the fray. No clue was provided as to who this character might be, so -- with a lot of faces popping up throughout the Winchester brothers' dramatic journey -- fans can only speculate which one they will see again.

CARRY ON – Everything is on the line as the battle against God (guest star Rob Benedict) continues. A familiar face returns to join the fight. The episode was directed by John Showalter and written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#1519). Original airdate 11/12/2020.
"Inherit the Earth" was written by writing partners Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner -- who cowrote several episodes -- with John Showalter directing his 26th episode of the series. This will be the 19th episode of Supernatural's 15th and final season and will air on Nov. 12.
Supernatural premiered in 2005 and has since become the longest-running fantasy/science fiction series in American television history. The final season of Supernatural began airing in January, but production was forced to halt due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Starring Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert, the final episodes of Supernatural air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
