Supernatural provided its first look at the set of the final episodes, which began filming on Tuesday.

The photo was shared by the SPN Tape Ball Instagram account, a humorous page that chronicles the adventures of the ball of tape that is made from the strips of adhesive that label where the actors should stand in a scene. The ball of tape can be seen wearing a mask to protect itself from contracting the coronavirus.

The CW drama shut down filming back in March along with the rest of Hollywood due to the coronavirus pandemic, forcing the series finale to be pushed back to Oct. 8 of this year. The final season has seven episodes left to air, five of which were filmed before the pandemic began. The CW, however, decided to hold on to those five episodes, opting instead to air them with the final two once they were complete.

The final episodes of the long-running drama will air on Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. It will be followed by new episodes of the third season of the fantasy series, The Outpost.

Airing on The CW, the final season of Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert. The series returns with new episodes on Oct. 8 at 8pm ET/PT.
