The end is nigh for Supernatural.
Ahead of the show's fifteenth and final season, The CW released a new poster to celebrate the road so far. Leading cast members Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert appear the very top, underneath a tagline that reads, "As it is written, so it shall end."
Underneath them, important symbols from across the show's fifteen-season run appear, like the Winchester brothers' iconic 1967 Chevy Impala. It also borrows symbols from the show's title card, which has changed from season to season. These include flames, a flock of crows, a pair of angel wings, a mystical golden light and the symbol that prevents hunters from becoming possessed by demons. In the center of the poster, a flight of stairs leads into a glowing orb of light.
In the Season 14 finale, Sam and Dean Winchester came to the horrifying realization that the course of their lives had been personally steered by God's whim; every hardship, every tragedy had been crafted by God for his own entertainment. When they pushed back, God retaliated in kind, launching what may well be the end of everything. Heading into Season 15, the Winchesters will have to rail against the Creator himself to find peace at last.
Returning Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW for its final season, Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert.
