WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Zari, Not Zari," the latest episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Legends of Tomorrow's crossover with Supernatural quickly went south for the crew of the long-running CW series.

In the latest episode titled "Zari, Not Zari," John Constantine went looking for the next piece of the Loom of Fate on his own. Sara and Charlie quickly pursued him, only to stumble onto a location shoot for Supernatural. Unfortunately, this particular spot's proximity to the Loom spelled doom for Supernatural's crew.

When Sara noticed a filming notice posted to a tree, she revealed herself to be a fan of the series. "That's cool! Looks like Supernatural is filming here!" she cried. When Charlie said she'd never heard of it before, Sara went on to explain, "It's this show about two hot brothers who fight demons. I wonder if the Winchester brothers are here! Dean is my hall pass."

Soon, they caught up to Constantine -- and Baby, Supernatural's iconic Chevy Impala. However, there was no Loom there, only some props and Charlie's deadly sister Atropos. The three Legends faced off against the Greek Fate, who quickly got the upper hand. Sara and Charlie made a run for it, with Constantine catching up to them later... only it wasn't Constantine, but rather Atropos in disguise.

Unwittingly, Sara and Charlie led Atropos to the Loom piece, which was hidden in a tree stump deep within the forest. As they drew near, they found mummified bodies all around the stump. "What happened to this place?" Charlie wondered.

"Oh, it's the crew!" Sara gasped, pointing at a deceased man's jacket. "Wait, if they're dead, who's shooting Season 15?!"

Ignoring that, Atropos-as-Constantine intoned, "You leave a piece of the Loom of Fate somewhere long enough, there's going to be consequences."

As Charlie made her way towards the stump to retrieve the Loom, they discovered the crew wasn't so dead, after all. When she slipped in the mud, one of the bodies sat straight up and grabbed her by the shoulders. Soon, all of the bodies rose up as zombies to fight the Legends.

A fight ensued, with Charlie rushing to retrieve the Loom as Sara and Atropos-as-Constantine fought off the Supernatural zombies. Sara even managed to stake one that looked suspiciously like Dean Winchester, her "hall pass." When Charlie retrieved the Loom piece, Atropos revealed herself and snatched it away.

Like Sara mentioned, Supernatural follows two brothers who hunt demons, among other supernatural creatures. Zombies have, of course, appeared on the series several times over the course of its 15-year run. As a result, it is an appropriate -- if sad -- fate for the crew to suffer on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan and Jes Macallan.
